An academy designed to actively support and guide virtual learning by assisting parents in the role of Learning Coach. We instruct, motivate, and empower students, supporting their individual online curriculum.
When students enroll in virtual learning programs, such as Florida Virtual School, a parent commits to the roles and responsibilities of a Learning Coach. Parents can assign that role to an outside entity (i.e. The Pointy Pencil). The Learning Coach helps keep students motivated and on track while charting a path to success. Our Learning Coaches are more than just spectators in student learning - we are participants as well - experiencing the educational journey right alongside our students. The program schedule gives your child time to participate in school offered clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities, fulfilling the need to interact socially with other students outside of the classroom.
The Learning Coaches
Our Learning Coaches are led and guided by certified teachers with authentic classroom teaching experience. The Lead Coaches are certified teachers with active Florida Teaching Certification along with other specialized certifications, such as ESE K-12, Elementary Education, Business Education, Reading Endorsements, Curriculum Education, Secondary Math Education and more! We bring our expertise from the classroom to provide academic support for students enrolled in academic virtual and homeschool programs.
